Abstract

An experimental model of migmacell, including its beam transport, injection, orbit diagnostics and the five-stage differential vacuum system (10-12 torr) is described. Experimental orbit studies using a low-intensity molecular ion beam and the conditions in which a self-colliding orbit configuration ("figure-of-eight") is obtained are presented. © 1974.
