Abstract
AdNauseam is featured in the exhibition, "SECRET", at Science Gallery Dublin, Dublin, Ireland. AdNauseam is an artware browser addon to protect users from tracking by ad-networks and allow them to register their discontent with Web advertising systems. Like an adblocker, AdNauseam blocks ads on visited pages, but then automatically clicks each ad in the background, polluting the user's profile & creating mistrust between advertisers and ad-networks. By allowing users to explore visualizations of the ads they've been shown, AdNauseam also reveals how we look to the trackers who violate our privacy and facilitate bulk-surveillance agendas.
