Abstract

This note corrects an error we made in our previously published paper [Wave Motion 37 (2003) 137-156] when discussing the solution of the interaction between incident waves with an interface between two solids in collapse slipping. Additional analysis and detailed discussion on the influences of the incident body waves on the steady slide between two solids are presented. © 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
