Abstract

An energy-efficient virtual data center (VDC) embedding scheme is proposed through applying dynamic frequency scaling (DFS) to datacenters. An integer linear programming (ILP) model and a heuristic algorithm are developed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme in energy saving.
