Abstract
A new bandwidth allocation scheme termed Adaptive Bandwidth Allocation (ABA) based on classical control theory is proposed. It achieves stability, fairness and efficiency in metropolitan and wide-area networks. We demonstrate by simulation the satisfactory performance achieved by ABA. © 2005 IEEE.
