    Abstract

The two active receiving antenna modules for automotive applications were discussed. These modules were designed for global positioning systems (GPS) navigation and satellite radio services. The circularly polarized (CP) satellite receiving antennas were integrated with a low-noise amplifier. These LNAs were carefully designed that they have very low noise figures and large gains, 1.1 dB and 25 dB, respectively, for GPS and 0.8 dB and 32 dB for satellite radio services.
