Abstract
A new observer for estimation of rotor fluxes is developed for the control of AC induction motors. The new observer feeds back trajectory errors of position, torque, and rotor fluxes. It has been proven in theory that the proposed control method using the new observer can asymptotically stabilize the system. Simulation results verify the proposed approach.
