Abstract

This work presents a high-gain and wideband antenna array using pillbox-distributed network for millimeter-wave applications. The pillbox transition and the corporate feed network are combined together to provide equal-phase power distribution for all array elements. The non-uniform power divider is employed in the corporate feed network, which can suppress the side-lobe level in the E-plane of the proposed array. The magneto-electric dipole antenna is adopted as the antenna element of the array. The fabricated array achieves an impedance bandwidth of 21% with a maximum gain of 29.6 dBi.
