    Abstract

This paper presents the results of a study that examines the success factors in developing and implementing supply chain management strategies for Hong Kong manufacturers. A survey was conducted recently in Hong Kong manufacturing industries to examine the importance and the extent to which the Hong Kong manufacturers practiced the strategies based on these identified success factors. The results will help further in providing greater understanding of the success factors that lead to successful implementation of SCM strategies to reduce supply chain wide costs and to improve customer service levels. © Emerald Group Publishing Limited.
