Abstract

This paper discusses human exposure issues in typical high-rise buildings in Hong Kong. Power delivery to high-rise buildings, with the current carrying conductors installed in a vertical direction, usually has the characteristic of an extremely high current, as compared to overhead lines. A review and an analysis on the levels of magnetic field radiation and the induced human body magnetic field due to the radiation of the high current busway installed vertically inside the high-rise building are presented here.
