A study of compact microstrip resonant cells with applications in active circuits

Research output: Journal Publications and ReviewsRGC 21 - Publication in refereed journalpeer-review

    Abstract

Some novel compact microstrip resonant cells (CMRCs) are proposed and analyzed. With specific patterns etched on the microstrip line, these cells exhibit different characteristics of slow wave and bandstop. CMRCs are incorporated into a low-current-consumption transmitting/receiving (TX/RX) switch and a 4th-subharmonically pumped mixer. The performance is greatly improved. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
