Abstract
For the past two decades, precast concrete construction has been very popular for both building and civil projects in the Hong Kong construction industry. This paper gives a brief overview of the precast concrete elements that are used in Hong Kong public and private housing developments. In addition, typical production procedures, as well as design and construction constraints, construction sequences etc. are also covered.
