Abstract
In this paper, a new computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method, genetic-algorithm-based numerical analysis method, is developed to solve a flowfield problem based on an analogue between the evolution of living organism systems in nature and inanimate physical systems governed by laws of conservation. The new methodology is demonstrated with an analysis of a simple two-dimensional circular diffuser cascade. The computational results obtained are encouraging.
