Abstract
Regarding the Distributed Antenna System (DAS) as an extended MIMO system, we present a novel spectrally efficient downlink closed-loop transmit diversity scheme in MIMO-DAS by considering both small scale and large scale fading. We give the performance analysis of our scheme with both ML and MMSE-SIC detectors. We also improve our algorithm to solve some problems of MMSE-SIC detector. Simulation results show that better performance can be achieved with the improved algorithm, and at the same time it maintains the same high spectral efficiency. © 2003 IEEE
