Abstract

A novel compact microstrip bandpass filter which is realized by combining new slow-wave effect with dual-parallel coupling, is proposed. The filter is not only compact in size, but also has low insertion loss and sharp rejection. A demonstration filter is optimally designed and fabricated. Theoretical and experimental results are presented. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
