Abstract

Flexible multimodal sensors capable of simultaneous pressure and temperature detection are critically needed for advanced wearable electronics and intelligent robotics. While existing approaches utilizing separate piezoresistive and thermoelectric mechanisms enable dual-parameter sensing, temperature-induced interference significantly compromises pressure measurement accuracy. To address this challenge, we developed an iontronic sensor through innovative structural design and introduced a novel decoupling method that achieves precise, independent detection of both parameters. Our approach demonstrates remarkable performance, reducing temperature-induced pressure drift by 92% (from 295.17% to 23.2%). This simple yet effective strategy enables highly accurate concurrent pressure-temperature measurements, representing a significant advancement for applications requiring reliable multimodal sensing capabilities. ©2025 IEEE
