Abstract

A novel compact microstrip lowpass filter using a meander open-loop resonator is proposed. The lowpass filter has the advantages of compact size, wide and high rejection in the stopband, and low insertion loss in the passband. A demonstration filter is designed, fabricated, and tested. The theoretical and experimental results are presented. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
