Abstract

By combining a roller-form antenna array with 8 elements and two 1 to 8 power divider feeding networks, a printed circuit board (PCB) fed dual-polarized magneto-electric (ME) dipole antenna array with end-fire radiation is proposed. Due to its dual-polarized 8-beam radiation pattern, receivers can get two different signals. The antenna array achieves wide impedance bandwidths covering 1.75-2.7 GHz frequency band. Each elements and two polarizations have high isolation. The feed network is low-cost in fabrication as they are simply made on a single-layer printed circuit board.
