Abstract
In this study, we consider the problem of determining the optimum purchase quantity when the seller offers an all-unit discount on large purchases. We propose a more efficient procedure for determining the optimum lot size. Three examples have been solved to illustrate the procedure and also been solved using another three procedures so that comparisons can be made. © 2008 IEEE.
