Abstract

In this work, a 1x4 magneto-electric (ME) dipole antenna array with agile polarizations and steerable beams is proposed. The polarization can be switched among three different states, i.e., linear polarization (LP), left-hand circular polarization (LHCP) and right-hand circular polarization (RHCP). A reflection-Type phase shifter is used to design the reconfigurable feeding network for steering the radiation beam. Both the simulation and measurement validate the multiple reconfigurable capability of the antenna in polarization and radiation pattern.
