Abstract
Growing up through adolescence is a journey full of wonder, excitement, fun, and often frustrations, sadness and sometimes adversities. With this analogy, a digital positive youth development game, targeting users aged 12-17 to promote self-understanding, gender-awareness and equality, friendship, and romantic relationship is designed and developed in English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese. It is free for non-commercial purposes and can be used as an electronic learning resource for psycho-social sex education. This paper presents the design and functions of the different components of the game after a brief review of the literature on the core positive youth development constructs and their connections with friendship and romantic relationship. Practical issues are discussed.
