N2 - This paper presents a hybrid array architecture for highly integrated phased array antenna on spacecraft. The top part and bottom part of array are tile construction and the middle part of array is brick construction. The brick part of array architecture provides good thermal conduction while the tile part reduces the array thickness, weight, and cost. A Ka-band highly integrated phased array Tx/Rx antennae frame with the hybrid architecture for satellite cross links is addressed in this paper. © 2016 IEEE.
