Abstract
In the present, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) has arisen more and more attention due to the high efficiency, ease and safety in completing complex missions. This paper presents a new topology of high-speed magnetic-geared machine (HSMG), which combines PM excitation feature and magnetic gearing effect. The proposed HSMG machine possesses the merits of high torque and power density, high machine space efficiency and high reliability, which can properly achieve the requirement of the electric UAV applications.
