Abstract
Records the development and evaluation of a role-playing game for the education and training of production/operations management courses. The game can be used for teaching at school and the training of apprentices in a company. The aim is to illustrate the basic principles of and the differences between two production planning methods, i.e. material requirement planning and just-in-time. This game simulates a car production process with manual paper-work and a set of poker cards. © 1998, MCB UP Limited
