N2 - This paper studies a simple nonlinear feedback system that consists of a relay-hysteresis in feedback with a linear continuous-time unstable second-order system. With suitable parameters and initial conditions, the system can create chaos. The analytic solutions on occurrence chaos and the criterion for maximum stability margin of chaos are presented.
