Abstract
The near-field capacitive couplings are analyzed by using a hybrid method incorporating the finite difference method and the method of moment. A dielectric post is used as the model for analysis. Results from the formerly developed technique of synthetic asymptote are used for comparison. The speed of computation of the developed method is extremely fast. © 2005 IEEE.
