Abstract

A new annular slot antenna (ASA) is proposed in this paper. The slot is perturbed to match the impedance of the fundamental and first-order modes of the annular slot. Results simulated using Ansoft HFSS are presented, which show that this new antenna can provide a dualband operation. The proposed ASA can be applied to IEEE802.11 WLAN systems. ©2008 IEEE.
