Abstract

High-density tactile sensor arrays play a key role in intelligent prosthetics and robotic perception. To address signal crosstalk bottlenecks, this study presents a comprehensive acquisition system optimization. We rigorously evaluated two Zero-Potential Method (ZPM) topologies: the Digital Buffer-based and the Op-Amp-based architectures. Theoretical analysis and simulations reveal that the Digital Buffer approach suffers from significant voltage attenuation due to the on-resistance of analog switches, particularly in low-resistance regions. In contrast, the Op-Amp-based design effectively isolates this parasitic effect, reducing the overall measurement error by 80.58%. Validated on a flexible Carbon Nanotube (CNT) sensor array, this optimized circuitry achieves a remarkably low average error of 1.08%, ensuring precise real-time pressure mapping for tactile sensing applications. © 2026 IEEE.
