Abstract

A compact and simple circularly polarized cross-slot antenna with frequency reconfigurability is presented. Four identical varactor diodes are placed at the slot ends and tuned simultaneously via a single bias voltage, achieving a wide 41% tuning range from 1.65 GHz to 2.50 GHz. Stable CP radiation patterns are maintained across the range. The antenna is suitable for IoT, WiFi, and reconfigurable arrays. © 2025 IEEE.
