Abstract

Dual-polarized substrate-integrated aperture-coupled magneto-electric (ME) dipole antenna is proposed. By employing the radiating element and the substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) beam-forming networks, a 60-GHz 2 × 2 two-dimensional switch-beam antenna array, which can generate four tilted beams with dual polarizations, is designed, fabricated, and measured. Wide bandwidth and good radiation performance are obtained.
