Abstract
「俾」、「使」既為「使」,又為「從」,是一個典型的「反訓」例子。前人注釋這三個字,著力不少,但無一足以令人信服,名家如邵晉涵、郝懿行等均不得其解。究其原因,主要囿於注解的觀念與方法。注家一意求同,著意證明釋詞與被解釋詞義同,卻忽略一詞同具正反二義本是異常的語義現象,故舉證不足,解釋模糊。本文全面搜集這三字在先秦典籍中的用例,探究其正面意義,從而發掘其反向引申之由,祈能揭露這三字意義轉向的真貌。
