Abstract

The game between privacy concerns in intelligent societies and data mining is worth paying attention to. Currently, the relationship between privacy types, privacy collect agents, and personal privacy concerns has not been clarified. A 4 (personal information type: digital footprint information, digital life information, personal demographic information, and self-disclosure information) × 2 (subject type: human and artificial intelligence) mixed experiment with 160 college students found that subjects were most concerned about the privacy of personal digital life information and least concerned about the privacy risk of demographic information. In addition, participants trust the disclosure of personal privacy information to artificial intelligence agents rather than human subjects. Based on the research results, suggestions are proposed from strengthening user privacy protection education, urging enterprises to fulfill legal and ethical obligations, applying federated learning and blockchain privacy protection technologies, and establishing post privacy infringement remedies.
