Abstract
Along with the development of international trade and economic globalization, more and more conflicts raised between antidumping and competition policy under the WTO-dominated multilateral trading system. The international communities and scholars have put forward a number of proposals to harmonize them two, such as the Munich Code and the TRAMS. This article discusses these proposals but suggests to reform the existing antidumping regime first in line with competition philosophies. Nevertheless, it points out that any reform will depend on the further development of the multilateral trading system as well as the bargaining power of the WTO members.
