Abstract
董橋, 1942年生於福建。臺灣成功大學外文系畢業, 在英國倫敦大學亞非學院做研究多年。曾任《明報月刊》總編輯、《讀者文摘》總編輯、《蘋果日報》社長。2014年4月27日宣佈退休。董橋的散文在臺灣流行了幾十年, 傳到大陸這邊的時候, 讀者卻被一場 ＂你一定要讀董橋＂ 或 ＂你一定不要讀董橋＂ 的爭論帶向了極端。實際上, 對於這位先是輔佐金庸先生辦《明報》, 繼而為《蘋果日報》鎮守商業疆場的香港報人來說, 那些在他的現實打拼之餘, 在深夜或黎明, 在他心靈的純文學沃土生出的情致美文, 都是來自於一段無限美好的舊時光。
