Abstract
Using a strengths perspective for working with persons with mental health problems can help the mental health practitioners be more able to keep an equal pacing with the services and be more effective to facilitate the latter to achieve their recovery goals. Insights into how to effectively work with persons with mental illness and implications for social work practice in mental health settings were discussed.
