Abstract
After a short review of the 'Whole-ear Model of Otoacoustic Emission' proposed by us, a further investigation on the application of Continuous Wavelet Transform to the analysis of Transient Evoked OAE signals is made. The selection of algorithm and mother wavelet are considered and the frequency-latency relation curve is then obtained. The possibility of using wavelet transform to localize the defected site of cochlea is discussed. A comparison is made between the simulation result and the result obtained by similar analysis using clinical data and they are essentially consistent.
