Abstract
發軔於德國的石版印刷術以其成本低廉和操作便利的優勢,自19世紀由歐洲傳教士引入中國,迅速成為知識傳播的重要助力,見證了近代中國一個多世紀的社會變遷。石版印刷術作為一種外來技術,其本土化過程受到設備、材料、人、市場等眾多因素的型塑;但作為一種新的印刷方式,石版印刷術為中國的出版人提供了更有利於圖文並茂的傳達資訊與知識,尤其給圖像和樂譜的印刷植入中國元素,創造了更大的發揮空間。
