Abstract
A new method for fiber-grating linear tuning was reported. The wavelength range of linear tuning is about 10 nm, and R2=0.9998. The linear formula was obtained theoretically by the material principles. This method has important application prospects in the areas of fiber sensing, fiber communication, laser and etc..
