The characteristics and universality of Hong Kong literature could only be understood in the circumstance of the whole area of Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Mainland. The mix of foreign composition skills into the local culture and civilian taste is one characteristic of Hong Kong literature. With the problems of localism and internationalization being approaching, exchange should be strengthened among Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Mainland and Chinese literatus of other parts.
