Abstract

In memory? Or oblivion? Retro-perspectives of 17 groups of contemporary works of art from the museum’s collection The exhibition showcases the memories, interpretations and thinking of the artists during the colonial era. Various artworks including videos, fashion, pottery figurines, photography and block prints will be on show to reveal the artists' interpretations expressed in different forms and perspectives. Visitors are also encouraged to use their imagination to reconstruct this historical period.Artists of the selected collection:Anothermountainman, Chan Ka-yuen, Cheung Chi-wai, Chow Chun-fai, Chun Wai, Bob Davis, Jerry Ho, Leong Ka-tai, Leung Chi-wo, Rosanna Li, Ng Yuen-wa, Bobby Sham, Tsang Kin-wah, Ducky Tse, Tse Ming-chong, Pacino Wan, Wong Wo-bik Leung Chi Wo exhibits video work My Name Is Victoria.
