Abstract
《山海經》允為古籍中最瑰奇俶儻之作，前人多以其不特為史地之權輿，亦為神話之淵府，其圖經之中保存大量神話材料，於宗教研究至具意義。陶淵明 〈 讀山海經十三首 〉 自《山海經圖》發詠，因讀圖經而於詩中抒發感喟與宏論，其作影響後世至為深遠。本文從析論陶淵明 〈 讀山海經十三首 〉 入手，除申明宗教圖像如何得以深刻影響文學創作之外，並從詩歌創作角度闡析宗教圖像對於文學藝術營構所具備的重大意義，及藉著詩歌創作對於宗教圖像的發揮與改造，而在成就具備藝術深度作品的同時，又得以切實體現傳統詩 教意義等問題。
