Abstract
A novel dmit2- salt of [C16H33(CH3)3N]Ni(dmit)2(abbreviated as CTNI, dmit2- = 1, 3-dithiole-2-thione-4, 5-dithiolate) was synthesized. The composite polymer CTNI/PMMA thin films with variation concentrations by weight are coated by spin-coating method and their propagation losses are measured by photographic technique. The results show that the propagation losses is 3.001 dB/cm for 8 wt % composite polymer CTNI/PMMA thin films and increase linearly with concentration of the thin films increasing.
