Abstract
In order to protect the safety of downstream river channel, generally speaking, the energy dissipation structures are usually constructed in the water control channel of the hydro-junction, which can consume huge energy. However, the water discharge energy can not be utilized, and the building has a high maintenance costs. Aiming at these problems, this paper put forward a scheme to construct hydropower facilities in suitable part of the drainage channel. We intended to change the idea of "energy consumption" to "energy utilization". It would turn water discharges energy which need be consumed into usable electricity. Meanwhile, the scale of energy dissipation structures would be decreased, the cost would be reduced as well. This paper presented the design concept, carried out the model test, and gave the corresponding theoretical formula for security analysis of structures. The test results indicated that the water discharges energy could be converted into electricity successfully, which could provide a reference to efficient water-use.
