Abstract
The basic idea of performance evaluation method for computer network is to measure and evaluate the existing subsystem of network transmission using artificial simulated load. The evaluation model, measurement method, evaluation algorithm and system implementation were presented. The experimental results have shown that the method not only can agilely define various artificial simulated load and construct various application environment of the network, but also inherits the advantages of the traditional simulation technology in accuracy, reliability and adaptability.
