Abstract
The characteristics of rock fracture surface is one of the basic problems of rock fracture theory, but there is few research on couple fracture surfaces. Based on digital image technology, this paper studies the similarities and differences of the couple fracture surfaces. The basic principle and method of digital image technology are given, and the standardization method, comparison judgment criterion of the digital image of the rock section are presented. Six groups of granite Brazilian disk tests are performed, and the couple fracture surfaces are analyzed based on the characteristics of R, G, B and gray components. The results show that:(1)digital image technology can be applied in the analysis of couple fracture surfaces;(2)For granite, R, G, B, Y component distribution are in agreement, following the gaussian linear combination. However, R, G, B, Y component distribution of the couple fracture surfaces are different;(3)For the type A granite, difference between the couple fracture surfaces is about 21. 1% ~ 23. 0%, the type B is about 33%~ 38%, and the type C was about 37. 5% ~ 43. 9%. The research will provide reference value for the numerical analysis of rock fracture, microscopic parameters setting, and final fracture path.
