Abstract
From the development of individual’s cultural and spiritual life to a nation’s one,Tang attaches the greatest importance to "ren"(benevolence),the core ethical value of Confucianism.He believes that notwithstanding the dramatic changes of the world and serious ideological crisis faced,individual’s and the nation’s spiritual life,and the cultural tradition will still be able to have a progressive development and enjoy an ever-lasting life in which they will continue to perfect themselves and have new development provided that "ren"as the ethical value is the base of the main ideological value.
