Abstract
This paper examined the relationship and influence of Traditional Zen Buddhism text of Ten Oxherding Pictures on Modern Japanese Philosophy, discussed the issues of how the major figures of Japanese philosopher such as Nishida Kitaro and Suzuki Daisetsu used this text as the traditional sources to interpret and innovate the key words of East Asian philosophy.
