Abstract

Based on the key literature, interviews with relevant professionals, and project descriptions, this research aims to investigate how the design of public culture and leisure centers and neighborhood vibrancy relate to grounded theory as the analysis method and NVivo12 as the qualitative analysis tool. Dimensions related to architecture design are introduced to build the framework, including planning, design, and management. Taking Shenzhen and Hong Kong as examples, this paper explains the influence mechanism, the connotation, and the relationship by analyzing the explicit vibrancy and implicit vibrancy. The strategies for urban planning, architecture design, and service management can be proposed to improve neighborhood vibrancy by proper construction of primary-level public culture and leisure centers.
