Abstract
A testing plant of PV glazing window was set up in Hong Kong and comparative performance test was done for PV single-glazed window, PV double-glazed window and ventilated PV double-glazed window. Different influences of three window structures on heat gain of building, performance of PV cells and daylight of building were analyzed. Results show that in the summer of subtropical zone, heat gain and cooling load of building can be decreased evidently by using ventilated PV double-glazed window. At the same time, the temperature of PV cell is decreased to inprove its stability and photovoltaic performance.
