Abstract
Morphogenesis explores the process by which the morphology of a system is generated and evolves under the combined action of internal genes and the external environment. In the background of integrating biology, computer science and architecture, morphogenesis is increasingly used in the generation, simulation, and optimization of the design. The study reviews the cognitive processes of morphogenesis in biology and computer science; summarizes the essential features of morphogenesis and the underlying logic that determines these explicit features; investigates the methods of using mathematical models and generative algorithms to simulate self-organized morphology. Finally, this study combines morphogenesis and architectural design, using algorithmic models as intermediaries to apply morphogenesis to the design of architectural form generation. 版权所有 © 辽宁科学技术出版社有限责任公司;天津大学建筑学院
